“Far too many times have I been torn apart emotionally and abused; these poems are a certain reflection of that,” Hammond said. Every poem has rhythm and rhyme, making them easy to read and interpret, and they are about as emotionally real as they come.

Jessie Ryan Hammond was born in October of 1987. He grew up in Michigan, and has lived there all his life. He lived in Alma until he was twelve years old, then moved to Farwell and graduated high school there. He grew up in a very poor, dysfunctional family. PublishAmerica is the home of 25,000 talented authors.

PublishAmerica is a traditional publishing company whose primary goal is to encourage and promote the works of new, previously undiscovered writers. Like more mainstream publishers, PublishAmerica pays its authors advances and royalties, makes its books available in both the United States and Europe through all bookstores, and never charges any fees for its services.

PublishAmerica offers a distinctly personal, supportive alternative to vanity presses and less accessible publishers.
